Your First Appointment
At your first appointment, your Perfect Smile dentist will assess your suitability for veneers. After taking a look at your teeth, we will take some x-rays, scans, and photos of your smile, which will be used to create accurate 3D digital images using our innovative software.
We will then talk through the dental veneers treatment plan, answer any questions you have, and provide an estimate for the treatment.
STEP 2
Your Individualised Treatment Plan
Once this information has been assessed, we will create a unique treatment plan for you based on your individual smile and lifestyle. It may be the case that treatment is needed to address any oral health issues before placing the veneers.
STEP 3
Treatment Procedure
To fit porcelain veneers, your dentist will first remove a thin layer of enamel and take an impression of your teeth using a digital scanner.
From this scan, your dentist or technician will then create the custom-fit porcelain veneers, using our specialist precision technology. As you wait for your permanent veneers to be made, your dentist may place temporary veneers on your teeth while you wait.
When your veneers are ready, we test both the fit and the colour and make any adjustments that are needed.
Your dentist will then bond the veneers to the teeth.
STEP 4
Aftercare
Just like natural teeth, you should have regular check ups at Perfect Smile to ensure that your dental veneers, as well as your entire oral health, are in the best shape possible.
